His goal was to save enough money to buy a house in Whiterun (mod that allows me to purchase it without needing to advance the main quest) and to one day apprentice under the great Eorlund Gray-mane as a smith. I slept at the Sleeping Giant every night, drinking mead and listening to that dork Sven (I also had an eating and sleeping mod, to add to realism for this character) I did allowe myself leather boots and bracers though.īasically I started out chopping wood all day for Hod in Riverwood, to save up money. I was only allowed to use a woodcutter's axe or pickaxe if I got into a scrape, and I wore plain clothes. I've done an "NPC Character" build before, and it was actually quite fun. (my RP knows no limits).Ĭurrently I am (actually it's mostly Frea and Cosnach) kicking some Riekling ass on Solstheim. The thieves guild now supports world peace and orphans and in the month of last seed they're planning to invite everyone over to a BBQ in the ragged flagon. Didn't even need her.Īnyway, I left Uthgerd at the temple and Serana dawnguard spoiler, and went on to the thieves guild, which is currently under Mjoll's leadership. Eventually Uthgerd became religious and left to join prissy elven dork in his Vale temple, but Serana and I managed to finish the rest of the dawnguard's quests on our own. (using a mod that allows for multiple followers at the same time). _-) and the new dawnguard enlistee, Uthgerd the unbroken. I changed him out for J'zargo and finished the rest of the main story.Īfter the main story came Dawnguard. This went really well, because unlike pussy bitch Sven Marcurio can actually fight a little. Bummer) Then I decided to do the college quests, for which I used Marcurio. I used Sven for the biggest part of the introduction, up to the point where I had found the horn. When Sven died to a draugr wightlord I was kinda sad because not only did I just lose my friend, I also lost all of his gear and I was now trapped in a dungeon full of restless draugr and worse, which absolutely positively sucks.Īnyway, it's a very interesting type of gameplay. This was a fun playthrough because while the combat was handled by my "follower", I was responsible for almost everything. Seeing how Restoration is used by almost everyone, including warriors and thieves, I don't think that it breaks the play of a civilian. Before obvious battles I'd heal the hero and buff him a little.

I would craft and improve their armour, make them potions and food to keep them on their feet, enchant their gear, and in battle I would use a bow, and later the Throw Voice shout, to redirect enemies. I took a follower, and pretended that they were the actual hero of the game. My main skills were Sneak, Smithing, Enchanting, Alchemy, Restoration, and Speech.
